Hi Marie,
Disaster relief orgs need members of the public to call them to account and
to help educate them.
Please consider writing to MOD about their actions. You might like to use
the resources contained at
http://www.ennonline.net/ife/generalpublic/default.aspx
You might also like to write to American Red Cross and FEMA. MOD's
insistence that breastfeeding mothers need infant formula "in case" sounds
like it has come direct from the Red Cross and FEMA publication "Food and
Water in an Emergency" which mentions just one thing about breastfeeding:
"Nursing mothers may need liquid formula in case they are unable to nurse."
I think that they also need to enlightened as to sort of problems their
publication cause.
