Rachel, I hope you will have time to search our archives or have mom do so.
There is tons of info on this.
What strikes me first is that 3 days is not enough, more like 2 wks, I wish
mom had been doing this during these last 2 wks. And just becoz dairy and
soy are common allergens, it does not mean that is the allergen for THIS
baby.
Also, if a severe dairy allergy, mom must eliminate ALL HIDDEN DAIRY (learn
words that mean dairy e.g. whey, casein and others) and must eliminate
bovine (i.e. cow meat) too. There has been success with using enzymes to
break up the whole proteins into elemental. Mom can take that and/or baby --
need to look that up in archives.
Some moms go on a restricted diet of foods least likely to cause problems
and then introduce other foods one by one to see if a reaction occurs.
