Hi Gail:

I had some major and minor concerns with this site.

Major concerns # 1 and 2 (related): The "anti-guilt" message only addressed
nutrition (as if that wasn't enough as is) and one could link to the site's
"drug store" and order artificial formula immediately to the left of the
"anti-guilt" message. (Can we all say "conflict of interest"?)

The info on switching breasts at 5-10 minutes--but then mentioning hindmilk
in the next paragraph--made me cringe.

The info about maternal nutrition conflicted and appeared out of date. I'm
all for optimal nutrition; I'm not for making mothers think their milk will
be inadequate if their diets aren't perfect when mothers are ingesting
adequate calories.

The info about vitamin supplements was confusing--didn't make it clear that
it was for after 6 months.

There was no mention of special situations and an attempt to search
"premature," "twins," "triplets," etc. yielded nothing.

They did advertise some good books in the right column, but again they are
making money. I don't always mind that if it is clear to all.

Hope this helps as you work with them.

Check the "newborn" button and the "infant" button and look for
breastfeeding and starting solid foods, respectively.

There are a few points that need to be corrected. [I've offered some help.]

Would anybody like to check it out and send praise for good parts and
polite, constructive criticism for what could be "improved"?
