I had a mother call me who told me that she had a 10 minute break in the
morning, a 20 minute lunch break, and a 10 minute break in the afternoon.
She asked the simple question, "How am I supposed to keep on
breastfeeding?" At that time, I gave her a Whisper Wear pump which is no
longer on the market. There is however, a similar one called the Freemie
pump from Dao Health. Its collection cups are placed inside the bra and are
connected to a compatible pump. This is not quite like the Whisper Wear
where the cups themselves were the battery operated pump and the milk
trickled down tubes connected to collection bags under the mother's shirt.
This was truly hands-free pumping.
