Does she even know that the cream rises? She might be just thinking the 
cream layer is yeast...and might be agitating the milk by taking it out 
to look at it often.
You need an awful lot of yeast before it become visible, and human milk 
usually kills yeast. One needs to inactivate lactoferrin with iron to 
allow yeast to grow in human milk reliably.
