self-regulating low are doing so because it is a natural pattern, or if it

Jan comments about true FTT babies-- here we have poor self-regulation as a
function of psychological distress, which is not natural. Maybe it's just
me, but my curiosity has been piqued and I've been questioning how often low
growth rates are truly normal vs undiagnosed [subtle] issues with baby. So
many assumptions, so little real research. I'd love to see someone study
these babies more closely.
