I have just read the formidible welcome to Lactnet. It is a bit scarry to
post, but I feel I am on safe ground with an introduction.
My name is Kate and I am from Washington state. I have been a LLL leader
for two years now and plan to continue on to becoming a Lactation
Consultant. I have one son, Keegan who is almost 4 and sadly does not know
how to latch on correctly anymore, so I suppose we are really close to that
"weaned" state of life. I am coming off a LLL conference high and kept
hearing the praise of Lactnet. Thank you Katherine Dettwyler for such
thought provoking sessions! I am driving all my friends crazy with quotes
from your sessions. I look forward to gleaning new information on
breastfeeding from this knowledgable group.
