"I have a mom in my support group that wants to go through a 5 day =

toxins =

internet and can find no information on the safety of this process =

during lactation. If anyone has any information I could pass on to

mom I would appreciate it. The baby is 4 months old and weighs
approx =
14lbs."

I think the concern is legitimate since we know toxins are stored in
mom's fat and rapid release of them will increase the possible load
transferred into her milk. I have heard it said that mom's should
not undertake extreme weight loss while nursing for the same
reason. Is there any reason she can't wait to do this until after
baby has weaned, or at least until baby is taking mostly solids?
