I would like the post partum nurse who told one of my moms on day 1 "if
the breastfeeding isn't going well here is some formula" to make a home
visit to do wound care for the abscess this mom developed. By the time she
called me things were already too far along with the infection and
required surgical intervention. Because some pp staff don't realize that
their actions may have major consequences, the rest of us "in the
trenches" have to clean up the mess. OK, enough ranting for today -- I
just needed to blow off some steam to regain my perspective! Thanks, Linda
