Dr. Hale or any one else?  Does anyone have any information about a
medication calle levofloxacin (Levaquin)?  I got a call from a mom who was
prescribed this medication for pneumonia.  Dosage is 500 mg. 1 time per day.
 Baby is 2 1/2 yrs old and weighs 35 lbs. By the way, she was in the hospital
for 2 days and didn't nurse, now is being told she "can't" on this med.  Can
anyone help?

PS this just in - it is an antibiotic related to ofloxacin.
