There's a mom here with Cystic Fibrosis and a healthy breastfed 9 week old.
Mom had un medicated birth after three hours of labour. Baby is thriving.
Mom was not on med pre-pregnancy or during pregnancy. Now Dr has prescribed
a new drug called "Alpha-Dnase-Pulmozyne". Doctor is uncertain of any risks
to baby as this is a new drug. Mom is not on any enzymes or steroids (mild
CF). Mom is having side effect of hoarsness/losing voice.

Does anyone out there have any information on this drug? Are there
alternatives that might be proven safe(r)? Anyone have any experience
helping BF moms with CF? This is a first for me. Thanks, Nancy Sherwood
IBCLC (in hot humid Perth, Australia)
