In a situation like this, I'd say that using domperidone be the easiest and
most-effective method of inducing or increasing a milk supply.  With a new
baby, pumping every few hours, on top of cleaning and filling the lact-aid
will be alot of work.  But if she can take domperidone, which is much safer
than Reglan, she'll be getting enough stimulation (8+ nursings day, as you
said) to maximize milk production with little effort.  The cheapest place to
get domperidone is Planet Pharmaceuticals (see contact info below), but she
could probably get some faster from a local compound pharmacy while she's
waiting for the online order.
