I have used peer counselors since 1993.  We have a Peer Counseling Training
Course and workbook in Texas as well as Train the Trainer.  Our local WIC
Program has done a study on the effect of Peer Counselors on Breastfeeding
Rates.  If you are interested in either one, e-mail me and I can give you
