If I have a client calling for info on different types of pumps for the
purpose of returning to work, or other long term pumping, I describe what
types of pumps work best to optimize her milk production. This would be a
double set-up larger electric pump. They should have a product that is
reliable, easy to use, and maintains their supply.

The increase in the PNS was hard to take but many years ago recommending
rentals seemed like a lot for families to spend, but they did and the main
reason - to give their babies the best when they are not with them. I point
out the rental or purchase of these pumps is still significantly cheaper than
the alternative - buying formula.
