I think the name of the "disease, dysfunction, deficiency, or
insufficiency" could continue to be debated. My take is that the original
poster/blogger is trying to have the breast seen as a significant and
important organ - the mammary gland. And when it does not function to it's
full capacity, then this is a serious physiological problem and needs to be
aggressively investigated and treated. So she likens it to the dysfunction
of the thyroid, pancreas,etc.

Perhaps we can say "hypolactation" like hypothyroidism or "hyposecretion of
the mammary gland" of unknown etiology or "mammary insufficiency due to
excess androgen" or something like that. That way there is a clinical
diagnosis, taken seriously, research devoted to finding causes, and then
treatments.

That's the way I take her blog and reason behind it. And I think this is
quite valid.
