In the old days (b-4 a formula company bought nuk) they used to flow much,
much, slower -- soon after they were purchased a vent was cut into the base
of the nipple to make it flow faster
-- the rational was that it was taking too long to feed (formula moms
complained) with this nipple -- when comparing it to the old fashioned
straight nipple -- besides more flow means more formula $$$$
