I think this type of rash sounds like it could be a contact dermatitis, but
of course it is impossible to say without seeing. I think my "all purpose
nipple ointment" should be given a try.

mupirocin ointment 2% (15 grams)
nystatin ointment (15 grams)
betamethasone 0.1% ointment (15 grams)

Apply sparingly four times a day (after each feeding if there is a baby
nursing).
