Judy Ritchie sends a link to an article regarding Hep B vaccine for middle
school children and NYS policies. Besides being very off-topic for Lactnet,
this is a article full of inaccuracies. It seems to have more to do with the
highly contested Senate race in NYS then about children.

For the record, the requirement for Hep B vaccine before starting school is
a state mandate and has nothing to do with President or Hillary Clinton.
Children are not being removed from their homes for lack of vaccination, but
will not be allowed to attend school if vaccines are not complete. If a
child does not attend school, his parents can be charged with neglect, and
Child Protective Services can become involved. Do you really think the
system is ready and able to take on this job?

I view this highly inflammatory article as an insult to resonable,
fact-seeking people.
