does not specified. "The mother tapered herseld off the drug over a three
week period. Apparently, alprazolam was excreted in the moil,m becasue the
nursing infant exhibited withdrawal symptoms conisisting of irritability,
crying and sleep disturbances,. The symptoms resolved without treatment after
2 weeks."     p27 briggs/feeman& yaffe

   this information was reported by the manufactuer in 1989.
