Dear Lisa,
Thanks for the input.  I have been posting for a while about this yeast
subject.  The mom told me the 3 docs she saw said she cannot have a yeast
inf. w/o a fever and scaley nipples.  So I referred to it as febrile
candidiasis.  Yes, I know one dose of Diflucan is insufficient, but the
mother has decided to do what they said (yet again) and "see."
I have suggested other means to her, but that is where she is now.  I will
follow-up and cont. to post to Lactnet.  CC of this sent to them.
Thanks again...glad to see more docs who "understand" because there seem to
be a vast majority who do not.
