This statement kind of gets under my skin. For 10 weeks I have been
expressing 15 ounces per day to keep my supply while my allergic baby drinks Neocate.
This takes about 4 hours per day, sometimes longer. My baby may never be
able to drink the milk. I would never give my milk to a hospital so they could
be paid for it, while all my time and effort go unrewarded.

Jennifer Stevens, RN
"Medo said she was eager to work with the nonprofits, perhaps by
processing their milk. And she insisted that Prolacta would not
purchase milk from mothers. But Prolacta is compensating hospitals an
undisclosed amount for the donated milk they collect."
