I've used cabbage on two sprained ankles (mine, at different times) and my
22-year old son's dislocated and broken elbow. Worked great each time! The
orthopedic surgeon who treated my son was amazed at how little swelling he
experienced after the break/dislocation. This enabled him to get into a
regular cast a few days sooner, which was more comfortable and speeded the
healing of the joint.

I took a picture of the cabbage wrapped around my ankle/foot and held in
place with an elastic bandage. I include this with my slides of breast
engorgement treatment.
