The first processed foods:

In addition to breastfeeding, human babies first solid foods were
actually pre-masticated food from their own mother's mouth. We were
meant to have the same beneficial oral bacteria strains for proper food
digestion.

Dental caries are now blamed on oral bugs from a mother who has had a
lifetime exposure to antibiotics, a mouthful of mercury fillings that
are incorporated into her own food and gut lining and a mouthful of
several caries inducing bacteria. From LLL I also learned that mothers
transfer cavity causing bacteria from their in-mouth pacifier cleansing
and spoon feeding by tasting.

So this first very normal first solid food feeding method has been taken
away as an option.

Also, how much is cereal and jarred baby food contributing to obesity?
How far away from normal and customary self-feeding are western cultures
with jarred first solids? Remember also, baby food companies had to be
embarrassed into removing excess sugar and salt they used for adult
taste enhancement. Moms jobs away from home/baby and formula feeding
viewed as normal and customary created this deviance. It just
reinforces our need for adequate maternal leave!

Non-historical feeding practices mean we have all been labeled as having
a dangerous Infectious Oral Disease. It was so argued September 18 in
front of the Washington State Supreme Court.

Perhaps the answer is that human babies are not meant to digest
processed food at all. Honestly, if the reality of biology and when a
baby would have eaten processed food is related to the ability to digest
and utilize the nutrients, I wonder how far back in human history we
have to go to find the beginning of the use of processed foods as part
of the human diet.
