Hi. It’s been so long since I posted, I need to re-introduce myself.
I’m a La Leche League leader living in southern England. I have three
children (all breastfed), two step-daughters (both currently
breastfeeding) and a husband (who supports breastfeeding). All have
been known to help with phone calls when I haven’t been available.

I have been pushed to post by a phone call I just received from an
employment lawyer, Amanda, who is trying to get information for a
client about setting up a breastfeeding room for her employees.
Nobody seems to be able to provide her with information and finally
she was given my number. She wants suggestions that have worked for
others and to know about any health and safety issues. I don’t know
of any British employers who have done this. The client doesn’t want
to set up a creche—breastfeeding babies can be brought into work with
their mothers. There can also be facilities for expressing, but there
won’t be a breast pump. Any suggestions will be welcome. The room
available is a medium sized unused meeting room. There would be room
for a couple of sofas. Please give me permission to pass on any of
your suggestions to Amanda.

I have a new e-mail address.

England
