Sorry, I think your hospital needs a supplementation policy, so when a
nurse like the one you describe, gives formula inappropriately as you
describe with baby #2 she would be written up.  This was an error!  She
needs to be called on it.

And baby # 1 didn't need supplementing, he needed nursing on his time table
not the staff's.  My 11 lb 9 1/2 oz grandson didn't need any supplements,
grew most  appropriately without them (of course he has a funny looking
growth chart because he slowly slipped DOWN to average <gasp>).

And 40 is a normal blood sugar - what is the matter with these people!
