hi again- i just sent a note and forgot that i wanted to reply about frenulum
clipping- despite the wonderful help i got with bf (from my incredible LC
aunt!) I had many complications.... after many creative solutions to my
SHREDDED nipples were attempted, we clipped my infant daughter's
frenulum.(she's now 3+ ) there was no anesthesia,she cried for less than a
minute because we immediately put her to the breast. my aunt noticed right
away that she was nursing better(unfortunately my nipples were already in bad
shape so it didn't feel better to me...but we didn't give up!)
