Hi All,
This morning I was having a pity party for myself due to 4 days of horrid
insomnia (maybe 10 hrs sleep in the last 4 days) and 2 kids who seem to know
that mom simply has no patience so they have been pushing every button they
can find to irritate me. Then, in a moment of peace when they are out in
the sandbox, I read my morning Lactnet and read the update on the HIV+ mom.
What a heartwarming update. I am amazed at what other women can do for each
other, for our children. In this day and age when it seems we hear all too
often how women sabatoge each other when it comes to BF realted issues and
parenting issues rather than supporting each other, it is nice to see some
real "woman to woman" help and love happening. The baby recieving the donor
milk is especially fortunate.
Thank goodness there is some love left in the world where we can support
each other in this very special way rather than say "Oh, just put him on ABM."
