I suggest that whoever needs information on Lactaid and Lactose intolerance
...to check the archives for what has already been said on this subject.
Look in Ruth Lawrence, and also in Auerbach and Riordan. Do a Medline Search.

Also, for factual information, go to

http://www.gp.org.au/cls/lactose.html

the work of the Lawlor Smith physician sisters.

Look at the Woolrich and Fisher's article
"Colic, 'overfeeding,' and symptoms of lactose malabsorption in the breast-fed
baby: a possible artifact of feed management?" Lancet, 382-384, 1988.
