I donated blood throughout the entire time I breastfed my third child-every two months. I never was asked if I was breastfeeding nor did I volunteer that information. I just did it. I never assumed it was a problem, and it wasn't.
I must have been very ignorant, or innocent about bfing. I never assumed I couldn't BF throughout any of my activities. I had a heart condition and never even asked if any procedure or medication would be contraindicated. I just did it.
