Chris responded to my hypothetical quote of a nurse repulsed by
breastfeeding.  This was hypothetical, but something I suspect reading
between the lines of what I have heard.  That's just the problem-it's
not verbalized openly, but would explain some of the less than
supportive attitudes I have seen from SOME nurses.  I am especially
thankful for the ones who are the exact opposite-eager to help moms and
to learn how to be even more helpful.
Sometimes I wonder if the reason a few choose to work in OB is that 50%
of their patients can't talk back or complain to their supervisor?!
