And surprise surprise! I discovered that my annual 'Christmas sendoff paper" on post-institutionalised children who seek breastfeeding has been accepted by a journal I didn't formally submit it to. How did that happen?? Earlier in the year I engaged in some discussions with the editor of this journal to try to find a suitable place to send it. Our discussions ended with the conclusion that it probably would not fit in his journal but I sent it to him anyway and welcomed suggestions of where to send it. Anyway he obviously read it and changed his mind. Gosh it's nice to get it off and away, never to return!!
