Hi all,
I had a couple in, bio moms second baby. Loving bfg and the relationship, and the partner, who had never had a baby was so negative. I easily compare it to a jealous husband, who feels put out by the closeness of the mom and the baby. I think she was really just put off with the whole idea. we can all just conjecture why.
There were other issues as well, such as the partner refused to even touch a diaper, or change the baby. or do anything to help. I didn't get overly involved but just gently mentioned that a mom after birth really needs loving care and help with things other than feeding the baby. Rough situation.
