You are not un-90's!!!  Rooming in should be around forever!  I was not
allowed to have my first three children with me and was too ignorant to
argue about it.  BUT, I know that I would have recognized my baby anywhere!
Had they brought me a different baby, I feel sure I would have known.  So
glad the last three were with me from delivery until we left together a few
hours later.  I agree that the mother should have gone on to breastfeed her
own baby.
