Mary Kay's post of yesterday on 'Physician's and LLLI Conference' juxtaposed
with the discussion 'how old IS that baby, anyway' prompts me to ask:
Has Mary Kay been involved with BF for 32 years (the length of time she's
been a mother) or for 80 years (the sum of the number of years she has been
an IBCLC, a LLLL, an attendee at these conferences, and a mother), or is
there some other equation for working out such things?
Please note I am NOT asking 'How old IS Mary Kay, anyway?'
Jay's post on how to recognize him at the same conference necessitates the
following question, to him: will you be wearing anything else **besides**
the twirling bow tie? I am not asking on my own behalf because I won't be
there, but other inquiring minds might like to know. Depending on your
answer, Jay, some inquiring minds (like mine!) might like to know whether
there is a website where snapshots from the conference will be posted.
cheers

Kristiansand, Norway, where we have a single word that means '24 hours'
which is immensely helpful in describing babies' exact ages. There are a
lot fewer words in Norwegian than in English but now and again there is one
that English sorely lacks...
