Funny this should come up right now. I have very strong negative
feelings about day care. But recently my LLL co-Leader and I were asked
to come to an on-site day care facility at a local huge corporation.
The visit followed a phone call my co-leader had gotten from the
director of the day care facility about breast milk storage guidelines.
Well, the director was so breastfeeding friendly we just fell all over
ourselves to help her out.

While I would not want to have my child in day care, if I had to for
financial reasons, this is definitely the place. The director told us
all about the corporate guideline she has concerning breastfeeding and
the handling of breastmilk and enthusiastically accepted our offer to
hold sessions with breastfeeding moms and with pregnant moms to
encourage exclusive breastfeeding.

It blew away another of my stereotypes ;)
