Depends on how you look  at it....if the physician/NP will prescribe it and 
the compounding pharmacy will  make it, the mother can take it.  Physicians 
are allowed to prescribe "off  label" and that is why compounding 
pharmacies exist.  And more physicians  are prescribing motilium for GI problems....
