One more thing I forgot--

Anderson states that he still recommends nortriptyline (Aventyl or Pamelor)
as the first line of defense against PPD in the breastfeeding mother becasue
1.) milk levels drop faster-take before bedtime and substitute feed during the
night 2.) there is long-term follow up data on this drug with no problems
noted and 3.) it is much shorter acting than Prozac.
