 Robyn:  It sounds like you've tried a lot of good techniques, but I didn't
see anything mentioned about mimicking.  Have you had the MOM say "Ahhh"
and stick her tongue way out several times before each latch on attempt?
This sounds crazy to moms, but babies really are capable of copying at this
stage.  Once the mom gets over the self-consciousness of this, it can work
wonders.
