I'm starting a support group, mom.

I'm going to call it COLiC- Children of Lactation Consultants.
(I know the names a stretch, but it's important.) COLiC will be
dedicated to supporting the children of lactation consultants, and
meeting the needs of this very special group. Our services will
include:

        1) For our younger members:
-Advice on how to deal with a room full of lactating women
including introduction, baby holding, and common
diversions used by other COLiC members when their
                        living room is taken over.
-How to talk your parent into taking you to a Lactation
Consultant conference in an exotic city.
-How to deal with friends who don't seem to understand
why you have 13 copies of _The Womanly Art of
                        Breastfeeding_ on the shelf.

        2) For our older members:
-How to elegantly explain to your peers that "yes, I do
                        know something about breastfeeding."
                -Dating advice:
including how to stay away from the topic of
breastfeeding until at least the second date.
-How to deal with peers who think that Breastfeeding is
                        "disgusting" or "Gross"
-How to deal with friend who still don't seem to
understand why you have 13 copies of _The
Womanly Art of Breastfeeding_ on the shelf.

COLiC, as a foundation will be promote breastfeeding through
educational outreach of the friends of COLiC members. COLiC hopes to start
regional chapers across the country, meeting at the same time as LLL or
similar meetings in your area. Please be look out for posting in your
area, and please, be sensitive to the Children Of Lactation Consultants.
