Dear wise ones,

I'm looking for some good hard evidence that jaundice is less of a problem
in hospitals that have the BFHI certificate? Any offers?

I've searched the archives and PubMed but the specific info I'm not able to
find (if it exists of course). The closest I come to is the Italian paper by
Bertini (Pediatrics 2001). They do state that mothers are encouraged to feed
in the delivery room, rooming in, feeding on demand etc, but do not know if
they are certified Baby Friendly (can check of course).

Be grateful for any help, and I suspect I am looking for a European
hospital - Norway perhaps Rachel?

thanks

Sara Bernard
