Where can I find information and or research on the negative aspects of
mixing ABM with EMM? If a mother is pumping approximatly one half of the
required about of milk for her baby and needs to be supplimented with ABM
the other half, what is recommended?

The hospital says half EMM and half ABM. I have told mothers for many
years to do a feeding of EMM and then the next feed would be ABM. The
ideal is to not mix. I don't remember who said it and or where I read
it. I know this is old information but I have asked be back up my
statement.

The research needed to be done before they started mixing. Doesn't the
saying go like this "First Do No Harm"? We know the outcome on pure
breast milk and straight FORMULA.

If someone would give me the "FORMULA" for finding this question in the
archives I would be only too happy to do my own search.

Thanks goes out to all of you for the great information, humor, and
support.
