New  article in The Journal for Nurse Practitioners!    Amazingly neither  
of the authors is IBCLC!  reviews 6 studies of pain in infants.   
Conclusion: "Also, no harm has been found to come from its use [BF during  
imunizations] and it is readily available and cost-effective, therefore making  it a 
very logical choice in the outpatient setting." 


~~` Hmm, I wonder what harm they were expecting, that baby might bite  mom?
