Update on baby with short tongue and mother with sore nipples:

Baby nursing without nipple shield. 10 times a day. Good output. Pain
lessening. Mother greatly relieved. Clutch hold works the best, and mother
is feeling pretty good, and I am surprised that it all seemed to iron itself
out in a matter of a day and a half. Thank goodness.
