Yes....because how can she "know" the background of these donors - not just risky sexual behaviours but day to day exposure to other viruses that might potentially be passed on in breast milk.  No screening for drugs, OTC medications, herbals, alcohol/caffeine/hormones.  No control over expression or storage hygiene.

But if I had to guess, I'd bet the baby turns out just fine!

"many different antibodies" - when my daughter was being treated for Kawasaki Disease, she had to have immunoglobulin intravenously - about 2.5 litres.  I think that was 17 packages, and each package claimed to have antibodies from about 1000 donors.  Can you imagine me freaking out about the geometric possibilities for numbers of sexual partners of those donors - until I saw that it came as a highly processed powder that had to be reconstituted.  This stuff fixed her SO FAST.  Something about those myriad antibodies.......
