This little snippet is from the Weekly Times (Victoria, Australia) Livestock Section, November 12, 1997 - may be interest to other Lactnetters.
"Topping the event (sale of 22,500 station-bred Merino sheep) were the highly publicised KeriKeri four-teated ewes ..."
The renowned highly fertile KeriKeri ewes have been selectively bred for twins, and have the advantage of 4 teats and high milk production.
BTW the ordinary ewe has only 2 teats.

A question here, does anyone know of successful human lactation from more than 2 breasts?  Women I have seen with accessory breast tissue and nipples have allowed the "extra" ones to resolve.  Using extra breasts could be awkward in the dress department, I think.
