okay, i heard it first hand this time, a mother who called me and said her HCP
advised her to treat her nipple thrush with over-the-counter vaginal yeast
medicine. this makes me cringe (followed immediately by anger, you can see how
it has been lately). i am trying to rationally analyze my thoughts about why
this is not good, but all i can think of so far is that the other ingredients
might not be suitable for consumption by the baby. perhaps i am overreacting
or it is just an irrational response, but i don't know what those other
ingredients are, and how they compare with the inert ingredients in other
thrush treatments.

so who has a better opinion on this? i didn't dissuade the mother, and the
baby was being treated (not with this, though).
