Blessed thistle ... is it cnicus benedictus (latin name) ?
It is VERY difficult to find the translation of english names of herbs.
Much easier with latin name !
If you have studies or experiences about it, I would be interessed
to have them. I explored my books on herbs, and found nothing
about such an use for blessed thistle.

And what is Goat's Rue ? There is an herb whose french name is
rue, but its properties are not at all those described (it is even a
toxic herb).
