Most vaccines are OK for the breastfeeding mother; according to the CDC (1994)
the following vaccines are compatible with breastfeeding: cholera, diptheria,
influenza, measles, oral and injected polio, pertussis, rabies, rubella,
tetanus, typhoid, typhus and yellow fever.  Chicken pox vaccine and rhogam are
also OK. The 1997 R. Lawrence statement "A Review of the Medical Benefits and
Contraindications to Breastfeeding in the United States" may list others. It
can be found on the internet via NIH web site.
