Ah well, Doraine, risking sticking my neck out on this one, but I for one
smiled at your posts about your new bikini! As someone who used to enjoy
wearing one until very recently, and lying in the sun to get as much tan as
possible (still have faint light/dark areas left to show for it) and who has
enjoyed the men in her life appreciating her breasts for their various
functions, I wish you joy of your new profile and your new bikini! While
the whole issue of mutilating women to satisfy some kind of cultural
feminine ideal is abhorrent, I feel some discomfort at the idea that women
cannot take pleasure in what they were born with, whether that is pretty
eyes, a small waist or beautiful breasts. Women in all cultures have fun
making themselves attractive and we are no exception. IMHO breasts as sex
objects and breasts as feeding implements are not mutually exclusive. I
have always thought it's very neat that breasts serve a dual function, to
attract the male and feed the young, thereby ensuring the survival of the
species. Maybe this is only true for our culture, but hey, if it works ...
