Your post is right on!  I've been wanting to say that throughout this whole 
thread.  I breast-fed four of my children in public and never once used a 
cover-up, nor did I wear special "nursing clothes".  It is much LESS 
inconspicuous to just pull your shirt up and have it rest above the baby's 
face.  Very rarely did anyone even give me a second look.  It appears that 
you are just cradling a baby!  My skin did not shown at all.  Recently at 
Disneyland, another mom and I a few people apart in line were both nursing 
our exhausted toddlers.  People didn't even bat an eyelash.  The cover-ups 
make it OBVIOUS people are nursing and draw MORE attention.  I have been 
surprised by all of the suggestions on these posts for ways to cover up 
while nursing!
